Starting Psychology on a Disk
To start the program, click the desktop icon
or choose
the Psychology on a Disk entry in the Programs menu.
In some types of installations, these may not be present. If that's the case, use Windows Explorer to search for "POAD.EXE" and double-click the resulting find. If Windows Explorer does not find the file and the program is installed on a network, ask your instructor or system administrator for help.
Selecting your student data file
In most cases, Psychology on a Disk will locate your student data file and display a screen like this:
If the program has identified your file correctly, click Start. If that isn't you, click the link labeled "That's not me!".
If Psychology on a Disk finds more than one student data file, or if you clicked "That's not me!", you will see a dialog that shows the data files that it was able to find:
- If your file is listed, click it and then click OK.
- If your file is not listed, click "My file's not listed". Psychology on a Disk will display a standard Windows file dialog, which you can use to navigate to your student file.
